The Follow Through
AskMen: How do you feel about kissing on the first
date? Doutzen Kroes: If you both feel
it? Yeah, sure. Lindsay Ellingson: Don’t go for the kiss
until the third date. It’s just way too soon.AskMen: Being in a
relationship, how important is it to set aside time with your
husband? Adriana Lima: Being married, it’s
very important to find time for the relationship every day — even if you just wake up in
the morning and have 10 minutes for a cup of coffee together. You can keep yourself
connected and keep the relationship alive.
The Untimely Shank
AskMen: Let’s talk about a time when things went
wrong. Lindsay Ellingson: I met this one guy for a drink at
a Korean barbecue place, and they were cooking onions, so the entire date I was crying.
And it was just so bad — I was not into him at all, I knew immediately. So I just had to
suffer through my eyes tearing up for, like, an hour. I didn’t want to be rude. AskMen: What should a guy definitely not do on a
date? Doutzen Kroes: You shouldn’t talk
too much about what you have. Sometimes guys can talk so much about how much money they
have. You should just be yourself. That’s what you want to see in a girl, so that’s what a
girl wants to see in a guy, too. Lindsay Ellingson: I
really can’t stand cocky
guys. Intelligence is important. I love nerdy guys — love. And when a guy is really
into pets and family, that’s sweet.
